:: Lunch @ Hokano Japanese Restaurant ::

last saturday, he was at work.
so after work, it's like 2.30pm, and we were so hungry.
we decided to try the jap restaurant nearby - Hokano Japanese Restaurant.
it's located at Damansara Utama, same row as Maybank.

the restaurant is not very big..
tables & chairs are like those in coffee bean..

he knew i love tempura, so he sacrificed his initial order of Sashimi set to Tempura Udon..
while i had chicken katsu don.
since there was not many people that time, the food served fast.. (heng man, we were so hungry)

udon...
most of the time, if i dine in jap restaurant, i do not opt for udon.
it's because i find hard for digestion.
but the texture of udon in Hokano is chewy..
i don't know how to explain but they are just nicer than sushi king or genki.
i'm not sure about other jap restaurant because i hardly eat udon.

tempura
served hot, 2 big prawn, sweet potato and some veggie tempura.
quite good.

both the above priced at RM11.90

Chicken katsu don
this is very good...and the serving is big.
the sauce added in the rice is so tasty.
there was egg too!!
the amount of chicken slice is definitely more than other jap restaurant.
imagine, i can't finish the bowl of rice and chicken..

priced at RM11.95

the bill comes at RM25.85.

we had hot green tea that they charged at RM 1 per cup, refillable.

i think the tax is absorbed in the price of the food..

they didn't charge us for govt tax and service charge. GOOD!!!

i find this place serves very nice food and at a cheaper budget.
