damn good!!

Dry Pan Mee
It says dry because it is not served in the soup but the gravy was damn good.
The ikan bilis was so crunchy..
Everything was just so good.
I hope there is curry sauce on top, but there is none.

Pan Mee in soup
Look at the soup base, it is so clear.
But when you drink the soup, they are so yummy.
I wonder why they boil the soup with.

2 bowls of pan mee comes at RM 7.
yummilicious...
and affordable.

i heard they are also selling at Happy Garden pasar malam, but i'm not sure when and which one is it actually.
but the one in OUG Pasar Malam is on every thursday night.

on that day, i also had very nice bubble tea @ RM2 per cup. so cheap.
the ice-blended one is at RM 2.50 per cup.

then we bought takoyaki, apom, and the pandan flavour pan cake too.

appertizer - sashimi.
very very fresh.
so yummy.
i like the salmon and scallop.
when you put the salmon into the mouth, it's like melting.. so good!!
the scallop was good too!

price - it costs more than RM200.
for the serving of 6.
average of 6 slice of each type of fish sashimi.
i cannot remember how many types were there, but from the picture, there were at least 6.

set dinner - unagi
it comes with a bowl of rice, grilled unagi, tempura, fish meat salad, pickle, miso soup, chawanmuchi, fresh fruits and green tea pudding.

price - RM 38 if i'm not mistaken.

mine...
tempura sushi zen - RM 40

about the same thing..
instead of the bowl of rice and unagi, i have 5 pieces of sushi and 2 pieces of tamago.
I love the tamago!!!
and the green tea pudding was good!!
I always love green tea product.

the chawanmuchi has good "filling" - prawn, ginko, mushroom etc. very good too.

the xenri bento.
pretty huge serving.

this one has sashimi, fried fish, tempura, rice, a bowl of something-that-i-do-not-what-was-that, chawanmuchi, miso soup and strawberry with wipped cream.

beef sukiyaki
she commented that it taste pretty flat.

the total damage is RM 506.00 for the huge sashimi platter and 6 sets of set dinner.
it was definitely yummylicious.
for a non-working-people like me, i can't afford to have sashimi during my next visit.
but i wanna try their cold soba.
hehehe!!!

if you heart japanese cuisine, i would recommend you to try xenri.
they have a wide range of menu, but i think the set dinner and set lunch are worth it for the money paid.
because the ala-carte sushi will cost you more.

i will definitely go back to xenri when my exam is over!!!

i guess they still offer sunday lunch buffet at RM 38++.
give them a call if you wanna try.
and please make reservation in advanced.

since we haven't been meeting each other for some time, and we have lots of thing to talk about.
so we ate pretty slow.
and half way through the eating, (not even half of the meal)

i found this...

omg...
look at the amount of the oil.
i didn't know cabonara is this oily..
i don't care if it's olive oil or peanut oil or vegetable oil.
they are oil.
i can't feed myself with the cabonara anymore...
i thought cabonara is just pasta with parmesan cheese with egg white???????
though i know they have garlic, mushroom and chicken, but i guess they are not meant to contribute so much of oil.
those shown in the picture is just part of it.

the marinara is the same... but the oil looks like chili oil.
hahahah!
so he wasn't too happy with the food too.
and left unfinishe too.

i'm disappointed with the food....
but he had another brownies..
he said it was good..

unfortunately i just can't feed myself with anything else after looking at the OIL!!!

the choco my sis bought from brunei.. a great company to study.

i don't care how much weight i'm putting on now.
all i care about now is to take care of my emotion and my health.
i cannot be influenced within the exam period or else i'm gonna collapse and i can't concentrate to study.
and i cannot be sick.
if i fall sick now, i will not have enough time to prepare for my exam.
sick during exam, at least can still go to exam with MC.

16 days to exams...

bitterful enough.
definitely better than the one from Hailam Kopitiam.

omega half-boiled egg

french toast
not bad.
but don't know why the butter does not melt easily.
note: i can make good french toast too!!!

curry noodles
well, it's not perfect but okay!!
edible and quite hot too..
don't need to add soy sauce.
so i guess it's not bad.
but you can't get to taste the smell of coconut milk.
they are just plainly curry taste.

remark: the Old Town Kopitiam is charging a lil more expensive than the other outlets.

a simple meal like this is enough for me.
i'm trying to be normal in eating.
because... i'm putting on weight.

back to Spiderman 3.
It was ok lah.

fly here and there and the usual ending..
do good - get good return/ending.

and i don't know why they are charging at a higer rate for new show lah.
i know it's a good idea to make money.
but i thought weekdays supposed to be at normal rate rite??

luckily i'm still a student...
hehehehe!!
