i like spicy food..
thus i always look for hot and spicy food when i'm hungry.
the day before i left for brunei, i went to look for money changer.
then i had lunch at this place called Hing Loong Taiwanese Noodle.
i haven't visited this place for some time...
but i remember it was at desa sri hartamas before moving to damansara utama.

hello.... people!!
i'm back.

i touched down KL last night about 8.20pm.
so happened michelle kwan was in the same flight too.
this time i have people sitting next to me..
keep me accompanied.

the weather was not that good after about 1 and a half hour on plane.
so i was a lil worried.
thought that i can never come home to see you guys.
luckily this girl was next to next... talking to me, so that attracts some of my attention.

i have no idea why... everytime i travel, i gain weight.
in fact this time i eat lesser.
i don't have the chance to eat breakfast.
hehehe!!

will blog about the trip to brunei when my sis is back.

the shop is located opposite MR DIY at kuchai entrepreneurs park.
it's an end unit.
quite easily to be found.
they have another outlet at kepong fortune park 2 near carrefour.heard from the supervisor, there is also a MR DIY near their shop in kepong.
so people that is nearer to Kepong, you can try to find out and let me know exactly where the shop is.

there are 5 different dishes in te shop only.
chicken, pork, beef, fish and shrimp (new).
i've only tried the first three and i love them all.
there are 3 types of spicy level - mild, hot and extra hot.

if you are there for the first time and you can't have very hot food, please go for mild.
i can't remember if i have tried the mild one...
but we always go for the hot one...
extra hot is a bit... over liao for them.
so nobody wanna have it with me.

then you have to choose the sizes of the dish.
2 people - i recommend you to go for a small one..
you must be thinking it's too little right.
definitely not..
there is a reason, i'll let you know why in a minute.

Beef Behemoth - 3 sizes
Flamming Fish Soup - 1 size - RM 30
Scandalously Spicy Shrimp - 1 size - RM 22

the heater

intially we ordered a small beef hot pot.
but the waiter got it wrongly and sent us a medium pork hot pot.
we asked him to take it away as dearie does not really like the pork hot pot.
so the waiter still imagine that we are having a medium beef hot pot.
so it's such a big pot for us.

other than beef slice, there is also beef ball.
there is a lot of beef slice.
quite worth it.
the white carrot taste so good and yummy when it's cooked with beef.
the beef slice is very soft and tender too.
the gravy is good... to be eaten together with rice.

now...
it's time to tell you why....
half way through you are eating you ordered hot pot, you can actually walk to this place where you can select your favourite fishball, meatball, fishcake, veggie, yee mee etc etc
for us, we had fish cake!!

then you can get the waiters/waitresses to add soup to your pot.
there are 2 types of soup - clear soup or spicy soup.
we have only tried the cpicy but the effect is very good.

look!
now you can have another style of eating - STEAMBOAT!!
then you can drink the soup...

i ensure you will love it if you can take hot food.
the chicken pot is not bad....
just that the beef pot is more tasty, if you are one that eat beef, you will know why.
then.. the pork pot, it's a lil sweeter.... but there is still the taste of SPICY.

i just love this place.
affordable and variety.
i will visit them whenever i'm nearby.
hope you guys will like it too.

anyway, i'm going off to brunei on friday...

i was only able to finish the last one.
so malu.
but i hope to get the job lah...
since it's not very far from my house.
i don't want to drive to city centre.
so jam!!
time-wasting, petrol-wasting and energy wasting.
kl is so competitive... but yet the pay is so little.
i rejected two.... :(

2 weeks ago, on a hot afternoon, i was craving for dessert..
so we went to this shop named Sweet Bean located at Bandar Baru Sri Petaling.
this is my second visit to the shop.
the first was like before chinese new year, quite long ago.
but i remember they have this very special dessert, so i want to eat them again.

mango loh!!
not bad.
i think it is better than KTZ.

honey roasted char siew.
i dun quite like it.

we mixed the ice with the filling.
so they looked like this.

overall, the dessert there not bad.
and i think you can compare them to KTZ.
somehow i like this place better.
more choices....
but don't know why the day we went, there were many flies around. :

finally we get to catch transformers on saturday...

the huge fried chicken.
also at RM 5.50.

well, i have to tell you, there is this staff at the kiosk.
this foreigner, i assumed.
he is very rude lah!!
when people went to take order, he just ask people... "take away?"
if the customer said "no" then he will say... sit down first.
i don't know what is wrong with him lah, but there was once i was requesting for chopstick, then he said "eat with spoon only lah like the taiwanese".. it was not in a joking manner and i got pissed.
i paid to eat.. not to look at your ugly face with your funny accent and your annoying "teaching".
but i must say the other worker (the chinese uncle) is very nice.

transformers was owesome..
dearie thinks maybe there will be transformers II... caz i don't understand mah...
i asked funny question like small kid because i never read the comic or watch the cartoon.
now i think my car is also a robot because i always talk to my car.
hahah.. telling "him" not to break down in the middle of the road.
telling "him" to run faster...

oh yeah, mark told me to watch die hard 4.0.
according to him, it's very nice!!

the couple still can defend themselves before decision is made.

Wanted to go to 1u for shopping on the 1st July..
but we reached there late... made a few rounds at the new wing parking, no parking..
drove over to the old wing, no parking..
so decided to leave for the curve.
knowing that it'll be difficult to get parking in the curve, drove to cineleisure.
yes... they have plenty of parking at the basement.
:)

then we saw this...

hot berry - quite good (by myself)
durian - no no no no (his dad)
semi glazed - just nice for me (i can't take food that is too sweet)
choco oreo - very good, if i'm not mistaken, there was a lil crunchy oreo on top. not too sweet.
peanut butter - good (his mom)
mango - not nice (his mom)
chocolate banana - not bad (bf)
chocolate - okaylah (his sis)
vanilla - be careful when you are eating 'caz there is quite some amount of vanilla in the donut (bf)
cappuccino - i like this!!!

i'm a savory-person, so i still prefer something lighter but i'll definitely buy the oreo and semi-glazed again, maybe i shall try some others.
oh ya, the green tea one, not that nice lah.
i can only taste sweet but no aroma of green tea. bleh.

oppss.. it's the 10th month edi.

last saturday, he was at work.
so after work, it's like 2.30pm, and we were so hungry.
we decided to try the jap restaurant nearby - Hokano Japanese Restaurant.
it's located at Damansara Utama, same row as Maybank.

the restaurant is not very big..
tables & chairs are like those in coffee bean..

he knew i love tempura, so he sacrificed his initial order of Sashimi set to Tempura Udon..
while i had chicken katsu don.
since there was not many people that time, the food served fast.. (heng man, we were so hungry)

udon...
most of the time, if i dine in jap restaurant, i do not opt for udon.
it's because i find hard for digestion.
but the texture of udon in Hokano is chewy..
i don't know how to explain but they are just nicer than sushi king or genki.
i'm not sure about other jap restaurant because i hardly eat udon.

tempura
served hot, 2 big prawn, sweet potato and some veggie tempura.
quite good.

both the above priced at RM11.90

i'm suffering from pain..
it comes and goes..
and the worst thing is i do not which part of my body is having problem.
it's on the left side of my stomach...

went to see doctor..
and he said i have wind in the stomach...
he gave me the medicine, but after taking that, i'm still suffering from the pain.
i'm scared!!
i'm scared if my kidney has problem...

i always don't eat what is at home..
because the food is cooked by the maid most of the time.
so i cooked myself nissin noodles.
i do not like the taste, so i fed the dogs with the leftover.
this is the leftover...
tasteless for me.

i miss this chicken rice..
they are very good...
i haven't eaten this for very long..
if you have been to sg buloh, you'll know this place selling ipoh nga choi chicken rice.
the big pack of rice costs me RM 3 only...

this is peishan's version.
lady boss knows that i like chicken breast and i dapao without the beansprouts.
but sometimes my version is with white rice.
give it a try and you'll like it too.

As mentioned in the previous post, i had gathering with my college mates last saturday.
we had a late dinner because the guys caught transformer at 1815.
at first, eu jin thought of calling off the gathering but i think it's okay since we haven't met up for such a long and it's great that everyone is fine.

picked kat up at her new place at 2015.
the new apartments are so nice but we still don't have a chance to visit her place yet, perhaps next time.
then led pei pei from centre point to the destination.
we went to Wong Poh @ Bukit Mayang Mas because they want to have butter crab and i think this place has the nicest and affordable butter crab.

we waited for a while to get a table eventhough i had actually made reservation earlier.
so... i don't know what is wrong with their management.
they were so hungry so we had to order first...
hahaha!!
and the 4 little girls made their order.
crab... crab... crab...
then veggie...
then others.

here so can see only 2 pieces.
chee eer and pei pei order another 2.
they love it so much.

because we were too hungry.
this is good..
the lala's were not too small.
the taste was good!

we actually ordered another crab in sour and spicy..
but we were really too hungry to eat and forgot to take picture.
they prefer the claypot butter crab over the sour and spicy crab.
but i like them both.

the total damage is RM 163.
an average of RM 28 for the 6 of us.
they are having a promotion on the crab.

if you have 1 or 2 pieces of crab, they are charging at RM 30/kg.
if you have 3 or 4 pieces of crab, they are charging at RM 28/kg.
if you have 5 and above, they are charging at RM 26/kg.

because we had 2 types of cooking, we had 3 in each type, they charge us RM 96.60 for the 2 dishes of crab.
i think it's reasonable because the dishes are quite big.
we didn't finish the veggie and la la because we were really too full.
we didn't order pot of chinese tea but we had coconut, juice and herbal tea.
the drinks contributed to the damage too..

i seriously recommend you guys to have the crab there.
they are so good and i'm missing them now.
oh ya, Wong Poh imposes 5% govt tax on the food and beverages...
but no service charges.. :)

the lame joke part is... we were talking about where we can go to after the dinner.
then i complained about rendezvous.

kat does not know HaLo cafe.. so suddenly "sea snail" popped out from my mouth...
and we were thinking what "hai lo" really is.
then i said... "snail in the sea."
kat said there is no snail in the sea...
then the lame me said "then there will be no horse in the sea loh..."
hahahahaha..
very lame hoh???
i know lah, but it was fun.

then Mark went further to sea dog (it is direct translated from chinese, i think it's sealion), i continue we seasaw... and all kind of crap.
But Mark ended the topic with sea cucumber and sea coconut...
hahahaha!
we went to the crazy UOL course and we are now mad.

after the dinner, we thought of going to murni for yum cha.. but need to wait for table, so we changed to Island cafe...
we talked a lot too..
i think we haven't seen each other since october, so it's good to catch up and update each other.
maybe we shall meet up again in sept.

but i had a fun day ....
met up with Kat, Pei Pei, Chee Eer, Eu Jin and Mark..
so nice..
we ate, we yum cha... just that we did not go for drinking due to our laziness..
so fast it's been 5 years we know each others.

i'm still the lamest...
chee eer is still the blurest..
eu jin is still so eu jin..
pei pei is still 'cheras de ren - her driving'...
kat is still a happy-go-lucky girl..
mark is still loves his matrices...
