it was lunch time and we were hungry.
we happened to find KTZ's new opening in 1U located at Rainforest, the new wing.
we had a look at the menu... we found out that they have a new menu...
but suprisingly there is an increase of RM 1.10 for their sago lo...
so they are charging RM 6.60++ for the branch at 1u.
the both of us think it's not worth it... so we didn't try KTZ.
instead, we found another new restaurant opposite KTZ.
it was at the old location of the world of feng shui... if you know where that is.
the restaurant named - PLUS ONE SHABU SHABU.
it is the taiwanese steamboat.
it has the concept like the shabu shabu in puchong where you have a personal pot and you don't have to share it.
it has a nice environment because the table is made of marble (i think so).
so you feel a lil classy dining in there.
back to the selection of food...
they offer few different sets of set lunch.
the set lunch priced at RM 12.90 or RM 13.90 where you have a portion of food for shabu shabu and free flow of drinks and free flow of appertiser.
there are 4 different types of soup.
menu...you can go for ala carte or their set lunch!!
i like the cute cute spoon... :)
it goes the same here like in dragon i where you can press the button to get the waiter, bill or water. so you don't have to wave like mad to get them to attend to you.

look.. it has a scallop.
the on-off button for the gas.
you have a personal pot - so it's very hygienic.
and i opt for the hot and spicy soup.
it was so hot for me.
in the soup, there were lots of spices.
it's not bad though!
they serve 6 different types of sauces.
i like the one with mushroom and mince beef the best!!!
mango pudding as dessert - delicious.
it's an affordable meal and you do not need to sweat during shabu shabu session.
it's worth it to try out for new thing...
i like it the most because the waiters and waitresses were very attendive.
i think the bosses are very friendly and caring too.
why??
because the picky me found too many spices in the soup and i took all of the spices out and put them on my plate.
the boss get the waiter to give me a new plate without me asking for it.
it's best where you have very caring boss and servants... then you'll dine in happily though it's not cheap or it's not super delicious.

suddenly i feel so lazy of uploading pictures of food..
there are so many photos in the folders/thumbdrive, but i don't have time to do the reviews.
and... my network card is not back to me yet.
sigh.. finally i have got a job offer that is from the bank..
the pay is not as good as expected but the most important point is that job is not a SALE job.
but i'm still hoping to get an offer from KFH. :)
i'm still waiting for call from the hr for confirmation....
but.. suddenly my family has conflict again.
i might consider giving up the job offer and working for my dad!!!!!
sigh.... i don't want to see him doing all the work alone and he is already old.
what can i do now to help him?

cannot show black face mah...
well... it was about this meeting up with Brit and friends.
yesterday i called her to check whether there'll be an outing today with the girls....
she said "ya..12pm mah.. at one u"
today.. when i was about to reach one u...
she called me and told me that she was still at home..
then i told her to make it fast..
at the end...
she only arrived One U after 3pm..
and it's 3 hrs late..
luckily Kat was there to teman me and eat with me..
or else i'll be starved to death...
plus that i was sitting in fish n co' at a table of 6 ALONE...
get me friends..
i hate to wait for people..
and it's so damn long kay..
half an hour is still okay..
but 3 hours is a bit too much.
be punctual if you are meeting...
if you are doing something else, then let me know...
don't make me wait like a stupid and telling me non sense.
don't act as if you don't care that i'm waiting and giving me lame excuses.
i don't fucking care if i'm seeing you or not either.
my time is precious and valuable too.
i wait for nobody.... without a valid reason.
try do this to your boss and tell him that you are waiting for a friend to pick you up and your friend woke up late and your dog ranaway from home or you are busy cleaning your house..
see what your boss tells.
if he smiles and din say a word..
i'm very sure he is damn nice..... till i don't want to work with him.
because he is just so uselss that he makes others do the work for you.
enough of ranting...
but if you are my friends.... take note of this.
my patience doesn't work on this.
in morale we learnt.... BERTIMBANG RASA...
but some people just don't!

the visit to delicious was on 1st OCT!!!!!
the day before my bday.
went there with Chi Yng and i didn't eat because i had my lunch earlier at KLCC food court.
she had this pasta...
when the waiter brought the pasta to the table, i can smell that the dish gonna be salty..
and she said YES!! it's salty. but edible....
quite nice woh... :)
i like pasta too!
i forgot what's the name..you go and look for the word "bitter" at the menu, i think u can find.
she said NICE!!!

:: experience of being in menara citibank ::
i went to menara citibank yesterday.
it was my first time there.. and i was at level 15.
have a nice view up there.
i was there for an interview.
it was a position for account assistant.
basically the job function is to manage the budget of the techonology department.
erm.. since more of them are from IT or IS background... so they need an assistant to handle their expenses!!!!
basically reporting to the VP.
it sounds good, but it was on CONTRACT for a year.
poor thing me damn scare after one year, i can't get promotion to be a permanent staff...
then die loh!!
but all that i must say...
WORKING CULTURE there is good.
and
A nice boss (from the first impression)..
A nice office (not boring)
A flexible hours (need to discuss with the boss)
A smart-casual working (but i wanna wear like executive)
i don't know what else to demand.
the only problem is...
IT's ON CONTRACT!!!!
and now.. i have 3 more interviews to attend in the coming weeks.

sharon and michael bought me a "crab" meal..
they drove all the way to Kepong for dinner..
because i guess.... they know i like good food especially prawn and crab or they actually fancy the food there.
i don't know...
but it was cool to explore the other part of KL with them as we seldom hang around that area.
we went to desa aman puri... this restaurant is located opposite Fook Kee Hawker Centre...
it's the 2nd unit of the row or you know where is berry's in desa aman puri, then you can find Tak Fook easily.
we had the followings:-
friend man tao.you can order either 6 pcs or 12pcs.
there were 5 of us and we choose 1 dozen.
it was good... and cute too!!
whenever i'm around, there must be veggie.
or else i won't call it a complete meal.
we had stir-fry hong kong kai lan.
not that good..
as i feel that the veggie was quite 'old' and it tasted bitterful.
kam heung bamboo clam.
it was so-so..
i wish that the bamboo clam was bigger.
you can have it either in tom yam or curry.
harmony had a good sense. she ordered tom yam. and it turns out to be delicious.
we love it. the soup, the ingredients, the prawns - just tasty enough to keep my mouth shut.
superstar of the day - cheese crab.
erm.. i'm not sure if you have eaten the cheese fondue used to be in desa sri hartamas.
the sauce tasted the same.
the sauce makes the dish special.
but i don't know why the chef din break the shell of the crab... so we find it quite hard to eat the crab and erm.. if the shell was broken, the sauce can be absorbed into the crab better.
i find it okay.. but i still prefer the claypot butter crab at Wong Poh.
the damage was about 110 for 5 of us.
i find it reasonable... and okay..
at least we had a good try and we had something different.
they have another superstar - salted egg yolk crab.
that should be tasty too.
shall give it a try next round.
they also bought me a pressie... a necklace from Bausch K.
steel jewellery.
i'm loving it!

i seriously have no idea how the employment system works in the bank.
i just want to earn a living... and hopefully can save up some money..
but the employers just don't understand inflation and high living cost nowadays..
i wonder they work in the bank or they actually exploiting the labour especially ME!!!
maybe they have not done labour economics....
or maybe... they have not done research on social problems.

wanted to make it on Eu Jin's bday but because it was a weekday and some of them were tired after work.. and after much discussions...
we decided to have it on 28 Sept, last friday.
wanted to make it at Kuchai Lama so that Pei Pei does not need to travel too far but the on thursday nite, she texted me that she was sick...
so on friday morning, i had to text everyone to change our initial plan... to PJ!
since we are left with 5 people.. and the guys wanted RICE so much...
after picking up Kat, made a round at SS2...
and decided to have dinner at Chow Yhang Restaurant because there was a parking space in front of the restaurant.
hehehehe!!!
because Eu Jin only finishes work at 8pm, so only 2 of us there to ask for a table.
they don't have anymore table at that time, so we were sitting outside. :(
imagine... on a friday nite, the restaurant is packed!!!
but the restaurant has only 10 tables.
after 10 mins, we were seated..
and we didn't know wat to order and Peng Shien cannot make it since he has work to do.
so we waited again...
but after a while, Kat said she wanted egg.....
Then we decided to order.
She ordered the Steamed Eggs...
I ordered Asam Fish.
we left the choices to the guys.
when the guys reached.. they made their orders too...
now let the pictures speak for me.
their famous dishbut it was G-O-O-D!
it taste a bit like stewed pork knuckles.

Mark loves it so much.
it was his first time eating fish in this style because he is not malaysian.
you can find tomatoes, pineapple slices, okra etc in this dish.
and i found out Eu Jin like pineapple. weird.
i thought only women love sour fruits.
with 6 glasses of their loh hon gor herbal tea and 8 bowls of rice.
the guys had 3 each... hahahahah!!!
and peanut - they charged at RM 2 if i'm not mistaken.
they also levy 5% of govt tax....
we round it up to RM75.
because it was for Eu Jin and my's bday..
Kat paid for the bill and in conjunction with her unofficial promotion of becoming the head of dept since her senior had all left.
Hahahaha... it was our joke.
you might not find it funny because you don't know what work she does.
nevermind...
get The Star tomorrow and turn into to BizWeek...
you will know or maybe not.
